Round 8 was clear for Burns. Lots of good bodyshots and his head punches were accurate too. Evensen is a good opponent though, who is earning his payday.

Round 9 was a good one. Evensen pressured well and did the good work for the first half but Burns dominated the last minute, doing the better work overall. Good, close round but I'd give it to Burns.

Round 10 to Evensen. He's got exceptional stamina and the pressure is there constantly. I'm glad to see him taking rounds though I think it may be too late. I think Burns will come out strong, as will Evensen, so it should be a good finish.

Great uppercut there by Burns in round 11, should have followed it up though.

Round 11 was great for Burns. Both men are warriors. Lots of good shots being eaten by both guys, though in this one, Evensen was hurt. I think he'll hear the final bell and he deserves too. He's fought really well but Burns is just a bit better.

No problem, mate. Sorry the analysis isn't longer but I'm on my phone and it's taking me longer than a minute to type these in between rounds

Round 12 to Burns. This followed the pattern of most rounds, with the quality coming from Burns. Massive respect to Evensen though, who hasn't stopped all night, and fought in a way he can be proud of. Good fight but Burns was one step ahead from the start.

I'd like to see Evensen again.

This was a very good fight, Burns landing more than double Evensen's shots and with far more accurate, cleaner, classier and crisper shots but the workrate and effort by Evensen was really impressive, massive effort from him and when I say he was non-stop I mean it, from first bell to last he didn't let up and asked questions of Burns who had a tough night.

That would be a good fight and one I'd certainly like to see. Both men would be suited and I'm sure it'd be a fun brawl. In Scotland, the crowd would be immense.

Entertaining bout. Like he pointed out in the post fight interview, he was having to force his work at times...but impressive stuff. He needs to find a medium between how much power he throws in his punches. It's good that he was planting his feet, but not every punch needs to be a power shot...he could have out-boxed and out-punched Evansen, it could have been much easier. Less of the unloading of big shots, and he would have been able to keep Evensen at the end of his jab...and then decide when to mix it up, dictate the pace a little better.

I was impressed by Evensen though, I'll keep an eye out for him. I like his activity and his spirit.

Evensen is young. His 15th fight I think? Now 13-2.

He lacks some speed, strength and technique. Hopefully he can be a champion someday!
