Easy to say afterwards but El Maachi on points was the sensible pick.

(No, I didn't have any money on it!)

After seeing El Maachi's last fight, I thought the controlled pressure of Colas would have been too much.

Just on my way back quality performance from el maachi. Started well was worried he would tire but kept it up for all 10 rounds. He had a point deducted aswell

I didn't see Maachis last fight so maybe ignorance is bliss and I got the right pick for the wrong reasons.

“There is no British Light Middleweight who can beat me. El Maachi is not even in the top 10 of what I consider to be your poor quality boxers. In Britain you all protect your boxers."

    :yep

El Machi beat a lad I used to train with a few yeas back - Eamon Goodbrand. I think the fight demoralised Eamon as it was his first loss and he has only fought once since. Looking back it was no shame to lose to El Maachi in your 5th fight, he is a talented boxer from what I have seen andhas only lost to high quality opponents while he was still a novice himself.

Edit just had a look on Boxrec and Eamon had his first fight in 2 years last month and stopped the boy in the 2nd.

Colas has lost too some abysmal fighters in the past.

El Maachi is just another on that list.

Should be some decent odds on the fight where El Maachi gets exposed now, so great result.
