    Population UK 59,000,000 USA 310,000,000 5X

    Medalist 2008 OLYMPICS UK 3 USA 1

    Medalist 2007, 2009 WCs UK 3 USA 3

And i could go through all the division but that is long, i will agree that their is more money to be made fighting in the US and maybe many very good fighters reside there for that reason but seriously I've had enough of any body slagging off the UK. In comparison to most domestic scene the UK has one of the best.

Apologies for the title more better, it would seem that my grasp of English eluded me for a second.

Your using olympic medalists as a gauge of professional boxing prowess from a country perspective?

Our best fighters have served jail time...

    "have more better"

That's all that need be said.

Boxing is also a big sport in England. In America, it is somewhere between hockey and horse racing.

Look at headbangers avi. That explains the British attitude towards most things American. They outwardly criticize, but can't help but admire the brazen, self serving, crude, power driven attitude that is at it's core essentially British.

I like most of the recent British champs. They all have been top talent and willing to fight with greats from around the globe. But I disagree with the topic statement. America champions have to fight stiffer comp.
Froch is the exception rather than the rule.

its the greats from a past era that i truely respect and not the current huge crop of american hype jobs and ignorant, delusional, narrow minded fans that build them up after being brain washed by ring comic and hbo :deal

    I'm not american.

But I have noticed that brits are always trying to compare themselves to americans, while americans don't really care what brits think/do
