And Boxing is a top Sport where else. And mate with all due respect you cannot compare England and the US for Soccer, the difference in quality is night and day.

 

Boxing is a minority sport in the UK. Anyone I know hasnt even heard of Froch. And the only reason they know Khan is becuase of the olympic silver win and then the prescott KO. Hatton was reasonably well known but if oyu asked peoples about him they laugh and say he was rubbish as the only two fights they saw were v Floyd and Pac.

So in the UK boxing is not a big sport. In fact i would put it somewhere between tiddlywinks and shove ha'penny.

 

People love live sport in the UK. And we are also susceptable to a bit of hype (I bet you are all shocked with that one!). But it really is a minority sport. Name almost any semi-popular sport you can think of and boxing is almost always lower than it. Its even significantly lower than darts and snooker which are all but dead in the UK (well maybe darts isnt but snooker is).

Who cares if the US won the group it's over three games not 30/40. The US has never had a player in contention for FIFA Player of the Year, their youth teams aren't getting any better and their best players are about to retire but the next generation aren't as good.

The English Players are in a different league to their American counterparts that's a fact they just suck when they team up for international Football. But who cares about International Football it's ****.
