The attendance for this event seems poor. I've been to this arena for a hockey game. It looks like they tarped off the upper deck.

    Round 6

Wolak just never stops punching. He isn't fast, or accurate, or incredibly powerful but damn does he have a motor (and somewhat heavy hands). Pinzon is getting rag-dolled from pillar to post here, and spending lots of time in the corners with the high-point target of his chin serving as a lightning rod for Wolak's crackling electric fists. Pinzon is just not seeing these punches worm their way up from below chest level and is therefore unable to move his head out of their way, even if he had the reflexes to do so. Wolak is landing loads of leather now. Pinzon is looking more and more fragile but still trying to move and counter his way to safety to regroup.

    57-56 Wolak

    Round 7

There is some delay here. Both boxers have their tape checked. :conf

The bell rings, and guess who comes straight at Pinzon? No, not Fan Man. Pawel f'n Wolak.

Pinzon is actually getting a little separation here with some quick footwork, but can't capitalize by zeroing in with any solid counters as Wolak inevitably catches up to him. Wolak flashes his arms in the lane and clogs Pinzon's vision, then starts pounding away once inside. This isn't gorgeous stuff from Wolak but it's incredibly effective and on the verge of a clinic for pressure fighters (at least, ones whose chins are steely enough to get away with this ). Wolak is still throwing with immense volume but lacking a bit of zip. Of course, having said that, he takes advantage of Pinzon's legs being twisted out of position and lands an INCREDIBLY loud chopping right hand that tilts Pinzon's head back rapidly and leads to the stoppage.

Pinzon burned himself out in the 2nd round with that ridiculous flurry. Had no more steam on his punches and couldn't keep Wolak honest anymore.

Chavez would have taken a lot of crap in fighting Wolak.

How much would he have taken for losing to him? :think

Wolak was honestly more of a threat than Gomez.

    @ the low-rent advertisement for Adamek-Maddalone.

Why sink money into a quality promo for an investment that probably isn't even going to turn a profit? :deal

Wolak has a good heart and chin. Good come back win. I agree Ib, Wolak is certainly not a knock out artist but he puts power in his punches. I would like to see him against Cahvez jr
