    Round 3

Lontchi starts things off with his jab, trying to command the middle of the ring. He keeps tossing it out and combining it with a right cross but is getting timed with the same punches from Garcia, executed slightly faster and more forcefully. Lontchi begins ducking down very low when defending. Lontchi is still leading but is quickly backing off as soon as Garcia begins to throw back. Garcia scores a stiff jab and blocks a couple coming back at him. The jab continues to split the guard of Lontchi. Garcia follows with quick baby steps, keeping squared up on Lontchi and starting to take over the leading duties. Lontchi is still ducking out of the way of some punches, and trying to land on his way up and out. Garcia catches him with a counter right.

Lontchi is looking worse than he did against Lopez. Doesn't mean that Garcia's looking better than Lopez.

    Round 4

Garcia jabs a bit but gives up the initiative again. Lontchi seizes the moment and comes in with volleys from different levels. Lontchi winds up against the ropes and is clobbered to the body as Garcia puts several punches together, with Lontchi simply shelling up and bouncing up and down. They get into a bit of a gunfight with Lontchi's back still against the ropes. Both get hit with quick straight punches. The referee adjusts Lontchi's slipping trunks. Lontchi launches an overhand right with bad intentions and catches only shoulder (and gets countered) but persists and lands the same punch a moment later. Garcia now reaches down with a fully-extended hook to the body. Garcia jabs into the face of Lontchi while getting peppered with overhand rights and fly-swatter shots.

    Round 5

The two exchange punches at very short range, and Garcia drops Lontchi hard with a right cross set up by a jab. Lontchi gets up but has a little jiggle to his knees. Big overhand right from Lontchi as Garcia comes at him. Another straight right hand sends Lontchi into the ropes, where Garcia pounces on him and flurries him to the ground with a bevy of blows to the body and head (punctuating with a hard hook that bloodies the nose and another 1-2 as he slumps). Lontchi takes the full count, wiping at his nostrils.

    KO!

Lontchi seemed to want a way out after the first KD. Still good step-up for Garcia and a good win.

What the **** does Capetillo have to do with anything? He's trained by his brother and father.

Anyway, Garcia looked really good. He has good foot work to get in and out of range efficiently.

Very good performance by Garcia! He stayed very relaxed in there and even when he had Lontchi hurt he went at him with a purposed and didnt forget to target the body. Very mature and focused performance!!

Both fights are up next. I think they just chose to play all 4 national anthems before the two fights.

Cool. I was afraid the fight had been called off at the last minute or something.
