I think it's a superfight and i give Montiel the best chance of anyone 122 down to beat Nonito, but he wont IMO. Donaire's a special fighter, he'll prove it over the next few years. He's literally got everything, including the best counter check hook in boxing :deal

February 19th cant come quick enough.

I can't see Montiel, however much I like him, beating Donaire. He's tough enough to get inside, and he's got good timing and decent power, but Nonito looks incredible right now.

Against opponents who he easily outmatches he gets bored, but against a real challenge? Totally different fighter.

I love the way that, when he realised he could hurt Sidorenko, he didn't charge in and wing lots of shots. He got his distance and set up his offence properly, using a stiff jab and a straight right. Plus, his reflexes on the counter are incredible.

    :good

When they showed that kd from the 3rd round in slow motion, that left hook counter looked like it was in faster-than-normal speed.

Great showing. Siderenkos face and nose were a complete mess. Expected Donaire to have a few problems with Siderenko but he beasted him.

Not sure Montiel will want much of Donaire, hope he does though.

I think they've both signed the fight already. Montiel's up for a challenge. There are things he can do against Donaire, and he'll have some moments of success, but he lacks the hand speed to win from my perspective.

Its about time Donaire started to get a push. When fighters like Berto and Taylor get hyped to **** before they even did anything and Nonito ends up fighting on Top Rank PPV then somebody at HBO needs to get fired.

    Cheers for the post D-Mac.

I think Donaire stops Montiel inside 6 rounds.
