Sugar Ray Loneard Question

green was on the start of a quite rapid slope downhill having just two wins since been badly hurt and stopped in three by hansen in a major shock for his european welter tittle , so this was in no way a green that you can seriously compare to the one which foght palomino

 

actually Ray's wins and the guys he beat are more than most people if you look at absolute atg's. He beat Duran,Benitez,Hearns,Hagler. Duran only beat one great Ray before Ray was great. A lot of guys can beat 70 mediocre guys like JCC, but Ray beat the best and looked to fight the best. He sort of burned himself out by 1982 though.

 

Again,Ken Buchanan wasn't great?And Dejesus and Marcel weren't borderline?And Duran beat Ray BEFORE Ray was great?Duran beat Leonard AFTER Leonard beat Benitez.You just can't give Duran any credit,even though you give Leonard credit for beating HIM.And what kills me is when Leonard is given "credit" for beating Hagler when Leonard spent 6 years completely ducking Hagler until Marv was shot.
