I hope so. If Khan loses, he is screwed.

I think its the manner of the defeat (if he loses) that will dictate Khans next step.

Having looked at Maidana - Kotelnik, I noticed that while Maidana dictated the pace and was the busier fighter, Kotelnik was more accurate and was the one who had the punches that really connected. He even let off a few combos on a rare occasion... shock horror I know... but I think a busier fighter like Khan could have a field day with those sorts of combos, with the speed he possesses.

Khan by a wide points win I reckon. He'll follow Roach's instructions to the letter and win pretty much every round with work rate and keeping his distance. That's what I'm expecting anyway

Is that because you think Khan's that good, or Maidana's not that good, or a bit of both? If you're right, that would be a real spectacular win for him :good

Khan SHOULD do this one comfortably. If he gets hit flush by Maidana then he's going down end of story, however he has shown before he can get up so it won't necessarily mean the end of the contest but a good chance he'll go down.

Also an issue is whether he starts being a cocky pillock, but as its Las Vegas there will hopefully be no homecrowd showboating and going into stupid situations. If he stays to the plan for 12 rounds, then wide Khan UD.

If I was a betting man I would put a sum on Maidana to get a TKO in rounds 9 or 10, just as I think there is a decent chance, or at least enough for a bet, that Khan is going to switch off, start thinking he has it in the bag, stop sticking to the plan, and catch a few bad shots.

i agree with beeston brawler maybe not that early but defo inside 6 rounds maidana is too open and reckless for a fighter like khan who is a tall stand up boxer with great speed with hand and foot i see him hitting maidana fast and often maidana will get desperate after about 4 or 5 rounds then get knocked out i fancy a spectacular win for khan i will defo be putting my money where my mouth is come fight night

Khan will school maidana in the art of pure boxing and stop maidana rounds 9-12
