I wasn't that cold. Foreman Hook is a known hater and I needed to call him out on his crap. I'm actually a nice guy but won't stand for bs lol.

Is anybody suggesting a Tyson win here projecting a stoppage victory? Because prime Mike failed to take out Tillis, Green, Smith and Tucker, and produced a grand total of one virtually meaningless flash knockdown in those 44 rounds of action. He also had some difficulty with an aging, and obviously misfiring and rusty Holmes (which the live commentators made note of about Larry even before the first knockdown). It can also be argued that Ribalta was prematurely robbed by referee Rudy Battle of another distance survival in 1986, right after Mike starched Marvis. In the Ruddock rematch, his last bout before incarceration, Tyson again failed to take out his opponent.

Are people here suggesting that Mike can take a decision win over the championship distance against the GOAT of Chuvalo I, Terrell and Cleveland Williams?

Much is being made of Ali's supposed susceptibility to the left hook. But that was the money punch for both Big Cat and Patterson, two opponents known for their hand speed, and it did them no good. Jerry Quarry also had a trigger quick hook, and greater height and reach than Tyson. Henry Cooper caught lightning in a bottle against a pre prime Clay one single time, when he got young Cassius advancing behind his jab, ducked and countered. But from 1964 to 1967, there was nothing remotely resembling a repeat of this. Chuvalo also had an excellent hook, and Terrell dropped Spencer with his hook in Thad's biggest (and final) win.

Frazier gave Muhammad hell by being a terrifically focused and relentless attrition swarmer, while the supremely athletic Norton matched a past peak Ali in height and reach, complimented by a temperament unperturbed by Muhammad's antics and mystique, as well as unorthodox style combined with Eddie Futch's planning and strategy. Observers in the boxing press determined after Tyson-Green that Mike's power was more comparable to Frazier's than Foreman's, and that Tyson was really better suited to be a hyper aggressive attrition specialist in the Marciano-Frazier mold. (I do disagree with this a bit, as Tyson's one punch knockout power against world class competition from either hand is well documented.) However, Mike was developed against too many quick and easy setup knockoffs (like Cooney), instead of more resistant competition which would extend him (like Lowry did Marciano, Marshall, Whitehurst and Machen did Liston, and Bonavena did Frazier). Mike never weathered the kind of storm necessary to ever suggest he could prevail against a peak Ali (who knew what is was to get up to win, even in his amateur days).

Silly Janny! Tyson is NOT no.2, he is no.15 on my list, so i DONT need to give him a fair shot at beating Ali.

Every Boxing-Xpert [like Bodhi] knows - Ali wins long before teh fight begins with Cruel insults about Cus in pre-fight build-up events, weeks before teh fight where Ali makes him "NO MAS" after 6 HUMILIATING rounds of Ali boxing his bloody head off every round And RELENTLESSLY taunting him to no end with HURTFUL And PERSONAL stuff about his precious beloved deceased Cus.

E.G - "Hey Ugly Midget Mike, Cus topped himself, becuase you let him down, by losing to a unskilled BUM twice in your Olmpic trials!!" :bbb

AGREE m8, Xpert analysis And all that is needed IMO. :thumbsup

Tyson has no ****ing chance of winning - it a MISMATCH, cos he loses before teh 1st bell rings, as Tyson is a mental-midget with teh mental strenghth of a ugly, ******ed, self v.-conscious 12 yr old kid who is starting Puberty And is v.hormonal And v.emotional. While Ali is teh KING of Taunts, Insults, Mocking And Mental-tormenting. :deal

Possible outcomes for teh Prime Ali vs "Prime" Tyson fight -

60% Chance - Tyson Quits on his stool, likely crying about what Ali said about Cus,, Or does a "NO MAS" E.G "Ear Biting" or in/after Round 3-6.

    30% chance - Ali KOs//TKOs a v.SWOLLEN, GASSED And Frustrated Tyson in Round 8-10.

10% chance - Tyson makes it to teh final bell - BUT loses all 12/12 Rounds.
If it a 15 round fight, change this Xpert Outcome Percentage Chance Rating [XOPCR] to 0% And teh chance of Ali by KO to 40%.

If someone was to start a thread - Tyson V God, I'm willing to bet a few would still argue for Tyson.

The irony is poetic, a lot of Tyson fans say my man Lewis is overrated:lol:

    Ali wins a wide UD
Foreman destroys Tyson, I mean the "holy **** what just happened" type of destroy.
Holmes wins a close points decision.
    Louis gets a late ko.
    Lewis - Tyson, Lewis SD.

Prime Tyson is just inside my top 10 hws but he's hyped beyond belief, best wins, LHW Spinks and old Holmes, what a ****ing monster!!!

    Xpert Post m8. :thumbsup

Look at all teh Tyson-Fangirls overating their Hype-Jawb Rapey Hero in this topic - like Alexvoce. They pick Tyson to KO anyone And he couldnt even Ko some shitty bums. :deal

He is teh biggest HYPE-JAWB in teh history of sports!
Spinks was a light heavy And would of been KTFO in Round 1 by any good puncher, so its a **** win.:deal

Holmes was Old, SHOT And never went on to achieve anything at all + Holmes hasnt looked Great since 1984, so its a **** win! :deal

How in Holy **** he compares to REAL ATG's like Lewis who has his Best wins over Holyfield + Tyson or Holmes who has wins over Norton + Ali i dont know! :?:?:think

Ali could possibly put on a schooling like he did with Liston and Foreman. He wasn't suppose to win those fights but he did. They were big,bad bullies and Ali made them insecure. Styles make fights so it would be very intersting while it lasted and neither Tyson or Ali fought anyone just like the other especially Tyson. He fought NO ONE like Ali. I think it would be a tougher fight for Tyson than Ali but as I said earlier, anyone can win.

Holy in his prime. The only time he lost in his prime was to Bowe in the first fight but he still did this to him in the third fight with Holy being past his prime.

BTW my fav boxer is Mosley, the guy who beat Foreman's butt buddy:lol:.
Oh, and I'm a fan of Wright, Forrest, Mayweather & Cotto(also Pacquiao but they haven't fought yet) too so showing pics of the guys he lost to doesn't do anything to me lol.

I agree with everything you said. Spot on. Ali beats Tyson 8 or 9 of 10 times.

    Boys, boys, boys...

This has gotten out of hand...

Anyone worth their weight in dog**** concerning boxing knowledge and history can make a convincing case for either fighter.

That's the way it goes with most ATG's and fantasy matchups. I would have trouble saying that my #1 heavy all-time beats my #10 heavy of all time every time... That's why they're rated at all- on any given night they could all be a handful...

I think Ali wins, but I can think of scenarios Tyson would win as well- I think Tyson does better against Ali than some other highly regarded fighters...

i see what your saying tho. tyson doesnt even come close to what ali has achieved, or holmes for that matter, but its not a thread about resumes or ATG status... its about 2 guys in one ring :good
