I'll probably grab a cup of coffee while Macklin against that Spanish guy is on.

I have little interest in Macklin... especially against a Spanish waiter.

Kham Maidana is the best on paper. Interested to see how De Gale handles his first proper fight as well.

I agree Peterson was outclassed against Bradley but did show alot of heart to get up from his knockdown. Ortiz is going to be in a real fight for the first time since Maidana, (Campbell was a shadow) if he gets through it in good fashion he could be up for a big fight with one of the top 140lbs' next, possibly the loser of Khan-Maidana.

Ortiz is a big favourite and should win IMO. I've always been a fan of Lamont and loved his back story, but he hasn't progressed and translated at a higher level. He has good fundamentals but very little physical gifts. His opponents have so many physical advantages over him now, Ortiz is still a work in progress, but has the tools to get the better of Lamont. GBP would not make a fight where Victor's immaturity would be put severly to the test. Lamont has very slow feet and needs to set, so i expect Ortiz to box from the outside using his superior athleticism ala his fight with Campbell. Wouldn't be surprised if he stopped Peterson but i don't think he will engage enough.

He should win I agree, if he does stop it could serve as a big announcement. I feel his is good enough to defeat any of the top guys on his day, if he fought to a game plan I could see him easily taking care of Maidana in a rematch. He is in many ways Khan's opposite, Khan with the weak chin but proven heart, Ortiz with a seeminly good beard (he took many shots flush off Maidana yet was not ko'd) but perhaps without the heart to succeed.

That is why I am most excited for these two bouts come Saturday.

    Khan - Maidana.

It's weird, Vegas is 17 hours behind us here, so provided I find a bar showing it, I will be watching it about 2pm on Sunday having lunch. Doesn't feel right watching a big Vegas fight unless it's 5am and you're fighting off sleep.

Cleverly for me,he always seems to get into a war, even though he shouldn't but they make for exciting fights.I just think the Khan fight will be a bit of a bore, with Khan doing a lot of running and nicking the rounds, smart tactics but not really fan friendly, hope i'm wrong though.
The Delboy fight will be intriguing though, obviously hes the massive underdog but at least hes hungry for it,and you never know,he might have something up his sleeve :hey:hey:hey

Khan-Maidana easily. I actually think Ortiz-Peterson from the same card is the next best fight.
