Braddock had some talent. Do you think he gets an easy decision win over the Tuaman, or does he get put to sleep by a left hook?

good question cobra: tua from ike fight gets to braddock late. tua from lewis fight gets to braddock early but can't finish him. toss up who takes it over 12.

Yeah..if Braddock was to start off with a bold 1st round..being as fearless as he was vs Baer and Louis, then Tua may gotten discourage and copped his attitude from the Lewis and Byrd fights...but if he went out there like an animal...like he did vs Ruiz, then it would have been quite possibly a very short night for the Cinderella Man.

I don't see an early syoppage being verry likley.

Braddock did not just have a chin like an anvil, he was also verry good at smothering and neutralising, indeed at surviving.

Braddock at his very best is to good for Tua. Baer didn't know what to do with him. I say Braddock wins a mauling, awkward points decision more often than Tua catches him with the lightning bolt. Tua has neither the smarts, style or reach to stop Braddock fighting the fight he wants to fight. A combination of jabbing and in-fighting take him over the line.

You know which Braddock would have showed up...in his latter day important fights he ALWAYS showed up to do his best. The only variable here would have been Tua.

true but fair is fair and if we're taking the best braddock (say baer fight) then we take the best tua (ike fight)

in that case, it's a tough call but that tua is FAR from the plodding brawler of the lewis fight. i think this is a really tough call

This would actually be an awesome match up.

I don't think I can call it to be honest. But I think it goes the distance

Almost impossible to imagine a softer guy in a black and white picture beating a guy with like, a video. This might help:

I know it's hard to fathom, but the black and white picture guy BEAT the video guy. And the video guy is more ripped and everything. Scientists are baffled.

Tough one to call. It'd be just as hard putting Tua in there against Walcott or Ezzard Charles. He may get outboxed rather easily, but if Tua catches them just once...it's over. I think Tua would pounce on Braddock the same way he did Ruiz. But then again, like you guys have said, it depends on which version of David Tua shows up.
