I haven't been impressed enough or saw evidence that would suggest Andre Berto could "trade" with Manny Pacquiao, maybe Berto can improve and be the new face of the Welterweight Division but he needs to step-up the quality of his opposition before we can measure him against a Pacquiao or Mayweather.

this fight is a COMPLETE mis match , Berto has faced no real opposition , hes strong and fast but he has two chances slim and none. Marquez will be a mismatch to even though i know many people believe he beat pac twice , pacquiao has advanced to much for him , the only way pacquiao will ever have a competative fight is against mayweather who would probably win williams or martinez forget mosley or cotto 2 what a joke !

I'd love to see this fight get made, just so we could see Berto pulverized and back to fighting on FNF and HBO BAD undercards.

Berto is the WBC champion. Fighting better opposition at this point is over. It is time to step up competition and the only real competition at Welterweight is Floyd or Manny. If he fights Shane than that would be a good match. But that isn't happening since Shane will most likely be facing Manny in his next fight.

I don't know about the rest of you. But I am ready to see if Berto deserves that title he has been holding on too. If Manny wants nothing to do with Marquez, well its time to see who the next legitimate challenge is, and that is Berto. Shane is coming off a loss and a draw. Nuff said.

 

Berto is stronger, faster and punch harder than Pacroid, that is why Pacroid will fight Grand Pa Mosely instead a strong , fast, black fighter.
