Roach is simply blessed with having Pacquaio who is a physical phenomenom with or without Roach. He isn't a great technical coach but he is great at the basics and getting his man in amazing shape and they are a great camp/gym. Pretty much everyone hes trained has been a world champ before Roach took over. They usually are in the shape of their lives after a Roach camp and thats a big part of the battle I don't think you can call Nazim a poor trainer off Mosley losing to Mayweather, he had an impossible task. Mosley matches up much better with Pacman because he has a fighter that is coming to brawl, is easier to hit, is open to right hands, is shorter and weaker.
I've seen Nazim train guys and he is awesome. And that philosophy **** doesn't start and stop with HBO, lol that's really just him. Smart guy and very nice. When he walks around, he almost has a little twinkle in his eye
Roach is a great coach, he's done very well with khan and Toney had his second best run under roach. anyway nazim is a great coach, i thought people were overrating him after the margo fight but he's still a great coach, the things he says are always spot on, he came up with the right gameplan to beat floyd but mosley couldn't execute it, but i didn't really agree with the sparring partners he picked for mosley.
naz want do a damn thing for mosley, im sure he will have a great game plan and say some inspireing **** in between rounds.but like floyd says, " the trainer can't get in there and fight for him" !! if this fight happens it may be the first time shane gets tko or even koed, even though i still think shane hits harder, its not about who hits harder it about who strikes first !! and in manny's case that with be 1st 2nd 3rd 4th and maybe by then end of the 4th, he will respond with is 1,2.how long can mosley trade with manny cause you know hes going to trade ?
He gives Shane a plan of attack and technical advice during the fight but Shane won't be able to execute. This fight only makes sense if Shane can turn back the clock to his prime days. I like Shane but he just doesn't have it anymore.

Which means you need to come up with a great plan for what you have...It doesnt matter how great your pass plays are if you lack the receivers to execute....You may be a great musical arranger but if you arrange a great piece but lack the instrumentation for your arrangement, then you failed them...A good arranger arranges for his band. Naazim may have a great plan but it isnt a plan for shane mosley.
