For a prime example of Toneys ultimate boxing skills just watch the Iran Barkley fight, while Barkley may not be the best opponent James has faced, it was a boxing clinic of epic proportions, it was a pure boxing masterclass. It's just a shame he lacked the discipline throughout his career that say a b-hop does, because he's up there with the very best of all time skill wise.
He was the face of boxing to many many fans but its simple he sold out like a ***** and even worst looked like a ****ing bum in the ufc and disgracing boxing fans simple as that I will remember him for just selling out and forget what he was to boxing. It was sad to see Thebodyshot
Never liked him. I know I am in the minority here on this but I work hard for my money. I take it as an insult when I pay my hard earned money to see a guy and despite getting paid millions by other hard working dudes like me he can't be bothered to get into shape for the fight. I liked him even less at heavyweight. he talked a good game but didn't back any of it up. He basically wanted to be crowned heavyweight champion based on his success at lower weights without actually earning it. to add insult to injury he tested positive for steriods not once but twice. I mean how stupid do you have to be to test postive twice.
he got humiliated in mma, casual fans and young people see him as a fat joke and fool. Thats how deep people can fall.
No doubt. He has a very good left hook, no question. But the way Floyd perfected the leap, connect, and switch angle to avoid a counter from his opponent requires great athletic ability and balance to execute it the way he does.
