Yeah, what a night. Reminds me why I love boxing so much.

Besides that, I'd have to say Pacquiao and Hatton was my last memorable night (6 minutes) of boxing. :good

personally it was my first KO, when my opponent wobbled me and then I sparked him out 5 seconds later in his own town. the cheers turning to dead silence was something else.

****!! To many to list, but I'll name a few!

Danny Lopez/Mike Ayala: Classic cutie-pie versus slugger match up, 14 action packed rounds, and the 1979 Ring Magazine FOTY.

Arguello/Mancinni: Astonishing performance by young Mancinni. At the end of 12 rounds it looked like anybody's fight. 1:44 of the 14th my man El Flaco taught young Ray an early version of the Zab Judah chicken dance!

Leonard/Hearns I: Looked like Tommy had the fight in the bag. Dundee tells SRL, "You're blowin' it kid! You have to knock him out!" SRL comes out with one eye and made Hearns look like a 3 legged giraffe drunk on Mad Dog!

    Haglar/Hearns: nuff said!

    More recently:

Froch/Taylor: I was rooting for JT, but DAMN! that was an exciting fight.

Pavlik/Miranda: Middleweights normally average about 50 punches per round. In the first round Pavlik threw 97 punches while Miranda threw 94 back at him. These freaking guys got a standing ovation after just one round.

Pavlik/Taylor I had it all. I still don't know how KP survived the 2nd round, nor how JT survived the 3rd. Rounds 4, 5, and 6 the pier 6 brawl turned into a boxing match, and in the 7th we got the highlight reel KO.

That's it for now, but it isn't even 1/4 of what I could post on this topic.

    Good ****. :good

Pro ranks or amateur? Not to downplay the ko if your pro, but it must have been a hell of a punch if it was amateur to get the ko.

Hah Bonaduce, that's hilarious. He's on the radio now in Philly, and broadcasts from literally right across the street from me in Old City.

Barrera Morales 1 was the best fight I ever seen live and probably ever will see in my lifetime. You get a primeval high when you see a blood and guts battle like that, which isn't very often. My heart was racing like a rabbit for 12 rounds and I was ****ing knackered from all the excitement afterwards.

probably the cotto clottey fight cuz i was there live and the atmoshphere was like nothing ive ever experienced, this and it was pr weekend and being rican myself, definitely memorable night. on tv would most definitely have to be trinidad/de la hoya, i was young but tito is why i started to love and get hooked on boxing,my family would always throw parties for the fights so here i am watching trinidad de la hoya not even knowing just how huge this fight was. i just remembered cheering for the boriqua and man when he got the decision,i think i heard puerto rico yelling with excitement all the way here in new jersey lol, even here in jersey(there are many ricans) people flooded the streets honking horns waving the flag at 2am

:good I was in a basement with a bunch of friends, all drunk and not expecting much, but watching these guys hit each other with EVERYTHING in the ****ing kitchen sink was awesome. Everyone was going ****ing ballistic.

Especially in the 6th when Lewis hit him with that uppercut that sounded like a ****ing cannon going off...

Another great exciting fight to have watched live was Pacquiao-Hatton for me. I went to a british bar, where only me and one Philipino guy were. The place was absolutely ****ing ape****. Most people before that fight thought Hatton would give Pac hell, myself included.

Man, that place erupted when Pac lit him up...
