I know its pretty soon, when is it..? I was watching Bernard Hopkins public workout, yesterday. Shame nobody really cares about this fight, because in my opinion this will be Bernard Hopkins greatest EVER victory. Taking into account his age, and his opponents abilities. Jean Pascal is not some ******, he's a athletic fighter will skills. And Bernard Hopkins has NEVER did well against athletic fighters, who can box. Never... Jermaine Taylor Roy Jones Joe Calzaghe And lets not play around, Joe Calzaghe beat him easy. Roy Jones molestered him technically, and Jermaine Taylor totally neutralized anything good about Hopkins........in the rematch, Bernard Hopkins threw 10 punches in one round..???? so anybody who thinks he beat Jermaine Taylor need to shut the **** up. Bernard Hopkins because he so crafted and technically sound, with abit of athletic ability.......will look well against all one dimensional fighters, or fighters who are good fighters......but not really athlete's. But when you put Bernard Hopkins against fighters, who know their way around the ring with their eye's closed, and they have speed power & athletic ability. He has NEVER did well. People need to understand tat Jean Pascal has faster hand speed, faster foot speed,better stamina......then Bernard Hopkins. People need to understand that Jean Pascal has chin made of steel. & People need to understand that he is not ******, he is no Kelly Pavlik. He is not a one dimensional fighter,he can box and move. People are chatting utter ****, saying that.... "Bernard Hopkins is going to expose Jean Pascal....???" Expose ****ing what....??? WOW he throws afew punches wide..? so does David Haye. WHOAAAAAAAAAAA so did Roy Jones Junior..... Reason why afew of his punches are wide, because they are bombs. Jean Pascal was coming straight down the middle against Chad Dawson, who is a very gifted athlete himself. And even Chad Dwason, was having problems with Pascals movement and agility...??? I never used to like Jean Pascal, because he never used to throw straight sharp punches.......... He does now,and he knows when to apply them.
They always say that every great fighter has one great fight left in him but I think Hopkin's last great night was against Pavlik. No one looks great fighting Hopkins and I don't think Pascal will either but, that said, I think Pascal wins a close one.
Hate to break it to you but that was all planned in advance to create more interest. Why do you think that neither Warren or Calzaghe looked absolutely shocked when they heard it. Same as the "confrontation" at the Floyd/Ricky weigh-in between them... all planned to get people talking. If Hopkins was REALLY a racist you'd have more than one example to support your arguement.
