Actually, that reminds me-

I once had a chick over and she wanted to see a fight...
So I put in Frazier-Ali I, being a great all-action fight between two legends...

She begins to get frustrated a couple of rounds in... She starts to spout things like "why doesn't he just knock him out?" and "this is as fake as wrestling, if he wanted to knock him out, he'd just do it!"... Also "I've seen enough street fights to know if they wanted to win, they'd just walk up and knock him out!".

I tried explaining that these are top professionals and it's not so simple. She cited the lack of an immediate knockout as proof of it being as fake and pre-decided as WWF...

I wanted to like her, but her total lack of sense coupled with her lack of reverence for my favorite fight and boxing in general, she saw the door that night never to return...

After Pacquiao beat Clottey, I had a friend in school who told me that Pac was going to be fighting Roy Jones Jr next. I just stared at him. I honestly didn't know what to say :nut
