Reports in the known webpages say the fight is a done deal for Jan 8 in Shymkent, Kazakhstan. Sounds to me as a good entertaining fight. Brahmers fights are always entertaining give and take and Shumenov is a good man as well. And Brahmer goes abroad so it will be a hard thing for him to get a judges decision. He has to be on the attack to get a decision in Kaz. Unifcation fights are always something good. The winner fights presumably Cleverly. Your thoughts.
Being its a home fight then Shumenov is a solid favorite here. This is a good unification bout between two of the top 10 heavyweights. I'm pulling for Shumenov, I think he's more likely to try to further unify with Cloud or Pascal then Brahmer is.

Cleverly is the mandatory for the WBO title. So if Shumenov wins he may have to vacate the WBO strap.
that means jack **** in the grand scheme of boxing politics. I'm merely stating the facts, yes the Shumenov-Campillo fights were tight, shocking cards etc. but fact is should Shumenov win he would have two mandatory's fulfil.
this is the perfect unification fight for Shumenov, against Brahmer and in his home country Shumenov will probably TKO him around the 10th-12th
