Yeah I mean Shane became predictable and Floyd just handed him a beat down.

The BEST way to beat Floyd is by flash KO (best way to beat Roy, too).

He shows all the signs of a guy who is vulnerable to two or three hard shots in a row, but only one EVER lands. Quick and relentless south paw pressure (not from a boxer like the other south paws) is choice number 2.

Cotto is not fast enough to trouble Floyd, nor busy enough. Floyd blocks all his shots. Pac might sneak a few through.

    Two things:
    1. If you give me a blueprint to build a house and i build the house to the letter, following that blueprint, and the house crumbles, then that aint a ****ing blueprint that i want to follow. If that was the blueprint chavez would have won.

    2. Miss me with that southpaw ****...yeah his daddy is scared for him to fight SPs and even made the statement after his first fight with one "Dont ever put my son in the ring with another southpaw." But yet, since then how many southpaws has floyd went on to fight and pick apart. Not to mention everyone talks about how southpaws give floyd problems, yet an orthodox fighter gave him the worst problems he has ever dealt with.

If manny beat him, it wont be because he is a southpaw.

This guy patently hasn't even seen this fight, as that is not even remotely connected to what actually happened. :nut

So Floyd didn't stick it out and brawl with Chavez?

I find it interesting that you would bring up the chavez fight I honestly thought that was how Floyd would beat manny the physical advantages are the same and chavez style is similar with the relentless pressure I felt watching that fight that all the clean punches were landed by Floyd but knowing hbo anytime u look like your giving Floyd a hard time they'll over exaggerate also how Floyd would kill him with hard undercut throughout the fight which pacquiao is known to be hit with often I can really see the may-pac match up playing out like this with a lot of rounds being closer than they really are due to manny's pressure

So by that flawed logic, there are numerous ways to defeat Pacquiao?

Yes and no. Yes Floyd came out with the W, but basically if you box with Floyd, he'll counter you all night and that's his strong point, in the middle of the ring. Only a faded Oscar had success boxing with Floyd. You don't box with Floyd, you make him brawl or go toe to toe, like Castillo, Chavez, and to a degree Judah did, doesn't mean you'll beat him, but his jab, chech left hook, footwork, and counterpunching is neutralized. Then you'd have to deal with his uppercuts and lead rights and right hooks. It's the blueprint, but only if an elite fighter with a chin, punch, and high work rate is up to the task.

Floyd has gotten better since then. His inside game is a lot better. He has mastered the Philly Shell more now.

If castillo's blue print was so great how come he lost an even wider decision in the immediate rematch?
