Tony TNT Tubbs vs. Tony TNT Tucker, both at their best, who wins?

If both were at their best, I take Tubbs by UD. He had talent to burn and more dimensions to his game.

 

I agree with this, the 229lb Peak Tubbs who decisioned Greg Page in a 15 rounder, takes a comfortable decision here.

Looking at some of the earlier rounds of Tucker's fight with Douglas, might give some insite on the issue. James was outboxing him in convincing fashion, before tiring and breaking down late. I think Tubbs could have done a similar job, only possibly finished what Douglas couldn't.

 

Based on what I know about both, Tubbs wins a close decision.Both had mad skill, but Tubbs was a bit more developed, and though early in his career, Tucker was fast, but by the time he fought Tyson and Douglass, there was definitely a change.Tubbs uses his superior speed and ability to get the job done.

Surprised that very few people are picking tucker

 

Douglas was schooling Tucker for 6 rds in 1987, but then Douglas began to tire and was stopped soon afterward.... UGH!!
