Irrelevant. Ask every person who enters the world amateurs whethers they would rather win it or the olympics. they all say Olympics.

Gavin won every competition and was unbeaten for years as an amateur but its DeGale thats getting 6 figures on saturday night.

Good time to put Bellew on. A lot of the live crowd will leave after Smith-DeGale so it's a great filler fight for the hardcore fans who can watch that and get home in time for the fights in the States. Where else are they going to put him? While Chisora is getting spanked? Or perhaps they can put him on during the ridiculously long Germanic buildup/ringwalk/rockband/national anthem playing.

Great tv action for you guys.We will only get the UFC,the Khan fight and the Bantam weight fights. To the best of my knowledge there will be no American tv coverage of the Mag 7 eevent nor the Klit bout from Germany.

Has anyone ever recorded these on Virgin+? Is it even possible? Have to work on Sunday so don't want to stay up for the Vegas fights.

I don't think we can mate. Has never worked for me anyway. Sometimes you can record to VHS but even then it can be scrambled somewhat

Actually the more I think about this, I might not buy this PPV. The fight that I really want to see is the Khan - Maidana but I know I will not be able to stay awake for this and for the last two PPV's I am not been able to order it from my sky remote. When you order it over the phone it doesnt let you sky+ it - so that really is a big handicapp with this PPV.

The other two interesting fights - Smith v Degale - I think Degale will hammer Smith and it will not be as competitive as people think, and Chisora v Klit - Chisora is just out of his depth. Can't see any other really competitve fights on this card - so I might give this one a wide berth.

There is probably more glamour with an Olympic medal but that doesn't take away the fact that a World Amateur Championship gold medal is just as big an achievement.
