Williams needs to learn better defense & needs to stop coming in so hard and trading right off the bat...he needs to learn to stand back and use his reach as he's done sometimes in the past...he's still a top contender...remember, he beat Martinez the first time (barely)....although I remember watching his loss to Quintana and thinking he was way over-rated

I remember thinking he was overrated after his fight against Margarito. Unless he has careful matchmaking from here on out, I see him getting knocked out plenty more times. Especially by counter punchers.

I for one was delighted in seeing Paul Williams KTFO. I think it was good Karma, and I hope Martinez never grants him a rubbermatch, and that Williams fades in to oblivion the way Quintana did, just because PW didn't grant Quintana a the Rubbermatch.

**** happens. How he learns from it and adjusts will be interesting, if he does. Sure hope he does.

How can you not believe a guy with no defense got knocked out?

I too thought Williams was overrated and that cliche about been "the most feared fighter" that he carried the past few years really annoyed. However, after seeing him go toe to toe against Sergio Martinez I gained a lot of respect for him. No, I did not think he was unstopable but I did become a fan of his fighting style and the heart he showed that night. When he fought Cintron, I was really cheering for him to give me more of a reason to believe that he had the tools to beat the best. Unfortunately he didn't have the opportunity that night since his opponent jumped out of the ring. After his disastrous KO loss to Sergio, I find myself still rooting for him to come back. I just hope that the KO doesn't change the style of fighting that I became a fan of. I just hope that he does change the style of fighting with 0 defense as he did in the rematch with Sergio.
