I mean if the fights pulled what happens financially? He's surely got to pay his team their money for the camp he's just been through..and what about all the flights n accomodation to Germany? I'm guessing he's already over there and thats were those press conferences were earlier this week? Surely he and other fighters in situations like this should have some compensation? How does it work guys? Anyone know?

He waits a little longer before being humiliated and destroyed in a couple of rounds.

Do you really think Wlads gonna actually ever fight him? Its not gonna happen...this fight was pulled for a reason. And lets see what happens when Wlad recovers. He wont go near Chisora. This injury is about as real as Haye back injury was.

I don't think Wlad pulled out because he was ducking Chisora by any means, but I don't think the fight was ever going to take place. maybe it was used to show how much of a ***** Haye was while other British HWs were willing to fight him, and lesser British HWs at that. Chisora ends up getting screwed out of a paycheck in the end, but that happens in boxing. Chisora didn't need the meaningless loss on his record anyway. hopefully he lands a big fight in 2011

To answer the question posed-the promoter's have insurance to cover such expenses.Chisora will keep the upfront training money and the flights ,etc. are all covered by insurance.

fights off cause haye strolled over to the us and said lets sort out the fight!!
he left it last minute because he knows he can and klits have nowhere else to go

emmanuel steward wont let him fight and risk injury
haye wants the fight soon because he plans to retire in a year and needs 2 fit both k bros in during that time

Chisora should be compensated very highly if the match won't ever happen. As should Albert from last weekend.

    This is good for him.

It's not the best case scenario financially, obviously. Based on precedent, I would say that he doesn't get any significant sort of compensation. That's why boxers get so pissed off when they put so much time into training camp and promotion and then have the rug pulled out from under them at the last minute. It's a huge bust for them.

It does, however, mean he can continue to develop on the domestic and European circuits for another couple of years before challenging for a title - as would have been advisable in the first place.

don't allow your dislike for haye to cloud your vision of whats actually happening here!! dont be ignorant... dont blindly defend vlad for doing the exact thing has has in the past been accused of!!

chisora fight was designed to get vlad into brish publications to mouth off against haye and it worked... 2 many people have been asking haye questions and putting pressure on him so now he's in America!!

Chisora got more exposure from this than he's ever had and possibly would've had for a few more years. He was given a gift without taking the beating. This is great for him.
