Why Have People Changed Their Mind All Of A Sudden On The PPV?

So, two fights have been called off, and 50% of this British Forum is having a tantrum about it.

If Gavin and Chisora have made you change your mind, then you need your heads checked.

I've heard comments left and right such as "This should not be a PPV" "This isn't worthy of a PPV" "The fights should be free instead now"

    Give me a break.

If you're crying over missing a complete mismatch which was Klitschko Vs Chisora and another match that was one of the least people were looking forward to on 'GR8 Britain Vs The World' then how can you consider yourself a fan of Boxing?

This Forum was hyping up Haye Vs Harrison like it was fight of the century. People can deny but people were saying "Is it too late to buy it?!?"

    The fights on this card:

If that's not worthy of a PPV, then I don't know what is. I got looked down upon for being a 'cheap arse' and not 'forking out 15 quid for Haye/Harrison', and now people are going on about this not being worthy?

I wasn't obviously too happy with the pullout but after a day I've still realised that this is a hot card.

So finally, in the last time I will be making a poll on it, are you buying it? :think

Apart from Primadonna Kool no one was hyping up Haye-Harrison.

Don't give it the whole 'holier than thou' bollocks with "how can you consider yourself a fan of Boxing" :good

If half the Forum being covered by Haye/Harrison threads isn't considered hyping up a fight, then I don't know what is.

I was not buying the ppv for the Warren card anyway...no point paying for domestic FNF action.

    - great

^^ Individually they're not particularly good fights, altogether on one card it's easily worth 15 quid though

How are the Brook/Mack fights better than the Bomber/Selkirk fights?

Answer= trolling. The haye/harrison lead up had so much of it and there were ton of comments saying how this forum was becoming general-esque so i dont agree with that. Wasnt hype it was bull-****

After the success of the mag7 and this being a massive anniversary show for FW I am disappointed in the quality of the Liverpool card. Theres good scraps on it like Bellews fight and Selkirk-O Meara actually but bar Smith-Degale none of the guys on there are making steps forward on this card for me. Even with Bellew, Ovill will come to fight which suits the bomber more and imo Ajisafe was a tougher opponent stylistically- step back for Tony.

FW said it was going to be a massive event this but without the Vegas show support it wouldnt be close to PPV worthy at all as NSFW says.

Much better matchups than the Macklin and Brook fights,

Btw, Brook is not fighting Clark but some African fella.

Lazarus.. that's all good and well from the Boxing fan perspective. But it is no longer worthy of PPV for a simple reason, without Chisora Vs Klitscho it's marketability to the casual sports fans plummets. They are the ones who make these PPV events profitable as people like yourself are the minority.

That isn't to say they are not particularly interested in Khan, but because of the time it's on, they need something in UK Primetime to draw them in. Degale Smith is not big enough and to the rest of the bouts the casual fans will just say "Who?"
