De La Hoya...Mayweather - Fought a better version, simply because he wasn't a shadow. Hatton...Pacquiao - Mayweather fought the undefeated Hatton, but Pacquiao KO'd the Hatton that hadn't been beaten at 140lbs...coming off of a confidence builder in Malignaggi. Marquez...this is the least comparable, but it has to go to Pacquiao because he fought him at his normal weight (even though I had the first bout a draw, and the second bout either Marquez edging it, or another draw).
One of them has done it better against the same opponent. Not being able to find the difference doesn't mean your stupid.
Mayweather defeated the better version of Hatton for me. Unbeaten, looked strong and healthy at 145lbs too - and had a gameplan. Against Pacquiao, he had a nutcase in the corner and looked like a journeyman who had been selected out of the crowd for a laugh. Pacquiao beat a better Marquez, Mayweather a better DLH. All told, it's about even. Mayweather beat a strong Hatton in ten rounds. Pacquiao beat a weak Hatton in two. Both did the job expected of them.
Agree. If I have to choose, it will boil down to their Hatton fights, and I give the edge to Pac for a more decisive win against Hatton.
Vs De la Hoya - A) Floyd fought him at 154lbs, Pacquiao although smaller than Floyd beat him at 147lbs B) Pacquiao looked better in beating him but against a worse version. 1-0 Mayweather Vs Hatton A) Floyd beat an undefeated Hatton B) Pac fought at Hatton's preferred weight. C) Pac beat Hatton easier. 1-1 Vs Marquez A) Pac fought Marquez at their prime weight and in my opinion won an incredibly tight contest (x2) B) Floyd easily beat Marquez 11 lbs over what he used to fighting. I don't give Floyd much credit for that win. 2-1 Pacquiao.
Seriously? Ok the DLH May faced wasn't weight drained and I'd say a better version then the one Pac faced, but May made Hatton move up to 147lbs which everyone knows Hatton couldn't compete at that weight class. Pac fought him at his natural weight and sparked him in two round, dropping him 3 times in the first. Hatton was competitive against May and arguable gave him one of the toughest fights of his career. I had the fight even until the 3rd man in the ring deducted a point and Hatton lost his cool and got KO'd. And Marquez, well you must just be stupid. Pac fought him at his natural weight and when he was younger, closer to his prime. May fought an older verison and at a weight class he's never fought at before. Not to mention May didn't even bother to come in at the agreed catch weight. Stop hattin foo!
Hatton and his team openly stated they were not ready for floyd when floyd was at 140. That fight was several years too late and that was Hattons fault not Floyds. To use ******* logic, what difference does the weight they fight at matter if they weigh the same they would on fight night anyways? Thats what *******s say every time Pac makes a fight at a weight that gives him the edge.
All that color coding and still no sense? Try using the quote function. I bet teens like you can actually use it. It makes more intelligible posts you see. Are you insinuating that Hatton was BETTER at 147? I stopped taking you seriously right there. (Well I actually stopped with the colors, but hey, at least I gave it some more chance) But because I like owning you, here's a link to Ricky's resume: [ame]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ricky_Hatton[/ame] Please do notice the immense amount of "light welterweight" texts under the "notes" column of his professional boxing record. So yeah, try and argue that he's a "natural WW". Regarding Pac-JMM: I'll give you a hint: try hitting the search function above, put my handle as your search key, and then try to view some threads that concerns the JMM-Pac fight and see my opinion about it. (I have no clue from whose ass you even pulled the "old and shot" tidbit, but I'm assuming you were too focus "coloring" your post that you overlooked this part) After doing that, go back here and say how much you've been owned.:rofl
Before JMM defeated Katsidis, Noone has really bragging a Pac/JMM trilogy other than JMM himself and his die hard fans. But it might be a good fight to see what can Pac do to JMM at the same weight Floyd has fought him.
Hatton was never the same after Floyd beat him. I give Manny no credit for beating Oscar just as I give Floyd no credit for beating Oscar. It's impossible to compare these fights. On one hand Manny beat Hatton and Oscar in much better fashion than Floyd did. On the other hand Floyd domintated Marquez and Marquez had Manny in all sorts of trouble.
