    Camacho in the 90s was nowhere near as fast as he was in the mid 80s, IMO.

    JCC is a fair shout for the chin category, but I never ever saw him absorb punishment the way Wayne McCullough did. McCullough was abnormal in that regard.

    Yes, he does.

    I think my rationale at the time was that Chavez's peak was in 1987, but he should still have been included.

    Whitaker remains my clear #1 though.

    Pacquiao has to be the GOAT of this era because he pretty much have all the good that you mention above.

    Your last point is a good point. I just think Johnson's stamina at his age is freaky. Mayweather and Calzaghe wouldn't be my choices for this category, as those two were never really involved in wars which would really drain the stamina. The guy who proves his stamina is the guy who takes punishment and fires back in a high-octane high-intensity battle. Although Mayweather and Calzaghe may well have been capable of that, I've never seen very many examples of it to actually prove it, not compared to guys like Margarito for example.

    It's not really 'bias' on the worst list though, as those were genuinely the very worst examples I have seen. Do you have any better choices? :think

    Enzo Mac is an experienced ex-world champion who got totalled by a guy who had 5 KOs in 13 wins, or something like that. For me, that's a thoroughly fair pick, though of course there will be many equally valid choices for that category.

    Okay Popkins, i've copied and pasted and i'll just offer some alternatives, though most of them will probably only be runners up to your own list, because you've listed great picks.

    PUNCHING POWER: Julian Jackson
    Example: Herol Graham fight (1990)
    Runner-Up: Gerald McClellan

    I can't post an alternative, his power is unreal.

    HANDSPEED: Roy Jones jr
    Example: Vinny Pazienza
    (Taylor might be the fastest so i wont give a runner up, Camacho i didnt mention because i wasnt sure if the speed was the same in the 90's)

    FOOTSPEED: though Jones would be my main man, honourable mention to Johnny Tapia in his prime at 115.

    COMBINATION-PUNCHING:I like Ricardo Lopez, on the outside he's falutless when he combos

    FOOTWORK: For me, Hopkins not being the greatest athlete, has perfected footwork in a technical sense, big shoutout to Fernando Montiel, who has a style somewhat like Benny Leonard, maintaing equitable distance throughout the fight and landing powerful potshot counters to head or body.

    JAB: Ike Quartey, Vernon Forrest, Lennox Lewis, Pernell Whitaker, I'll go for Lennox, see Tyson.

    INFIGHTING: I like Whitaker in this regard, at all ranges in fact

    CHIN: Wayne McCullough hands down

    DEFENCE: Hopkins for me, his is ridiculous good imo, i made a post in classic on the 'how cagey is Hopkins' thread. See Calzaghe, Trinidad, Glen Johnson, yes the fight where he goes all out offensive.

    MENTAL STRENGTH: Juan Manuel Marquez, see Pacquiao 1, and compare his performance against Mayweather to that of Mosley's

    STAMINA: Manny Pacquiao, i like Pac here

    PHYSICAL STRENGTH: I'll go for a favourite of mine, In Jin Chi, see his rematch with Michael Brodie, **** by strength

    COUNTERPUNCHING: James Toney, see Prince Charles Williams, Evander Holyfield etc etc

    I have an exam tomorrow Popkins so i'll have to catch up with you later.
