It wasn't it his post that made me *facepalm* it was/is your inability to realise loughlan was being tongue-in-cheek by calling him a biased ****er. We know it's a good, honest post.

Would just like to say firstthat I have long been an Andy Lee fan, and always been disappointed and confused in how his amateur career hasn't really transitioned that well into a pro career thus far, given how much talent he has

    But

Lee is going to get beaten into submission

    I can't see this going 12 rounds

He'll either get slumped Williams style, or ref/corner will stop it imo

I hope he gets outpointed in an entertaining UD and sets himself up for some other big fights and shows his ability but Martinez is so strong I think this could be quite brutal

I really don't see how its more laughable to have claimed Munroe had a decent chance compared to Lee here.

Martinez is actually a far more accomplished and proven operator than Nishioka was.

Lee has actually lost to a gatekeeper and fought limited opposition since, whereas Munroe built up to his world title shot quite well including the stoppage of a respectable opponent in an eliminator who had sparred Nishioka and thought Munroe would win. So there was certainly a line of thinking that swayed a few people there. Andy Lee hasn't been anywhere near an eliminator or fought anybody with any kind of record.

BBB you must realise coming on here and saying Lee, who is has beat nobody of note, will KO a top 5 P4P 2 weight world champion, while sporting an Andy Lee aviator will make you look pretty bias.

I can only see this ending in a brutal KO off Lee. You can't jump from domestic level to true world class. Look what happened to Kevin Mitchell. Its not that he is a bad fighter just not ready for this fight.

Fair play to him for taking it though. I guess this will double wth Casey.

Im too old to be a blind fanboy. I say these things because i believe it will happen.

Remember im the guy who picked Pirog to stop Jacobs while the whole of the US thought he was in for an easy night including Goldenboy....

I do think Lee can beat Martinez by TKO/KO because i know both fighters really well and i can see Lee doing it because i believe in his ability to time a punch.

It doesnt bother me that no one agrees with me but dont call me bias because i have different view to you.

Munroe was never going to win that fight, he didn't have the tools necessary to win.

The same can't be said for Lee, if he can improve his defense and conditioning he could be world class. Munroe was never going to be world class. That's the difference.

When people say "if he can improve his defence" it almost never happens, its a fundamental flaw. Its not a quick fix esp. at age 27.

What's the agenda of him thinking Martinez will win? If you're so confident in Lee, why wouldn't you take the bet?

I'll look at the odds are on this. I expect Martinez to win but Lee will be precautios and I'm quite confident many will be mistaken if they think Lee is going to fight like Paul williams did.

And how does Lee differ (as far as having the tools to win)?

Don't just real off southpaw, power and fast hands again. The point is Martinez has what Lee has in abundance is far more mature and crafty. The tools have to be relevant to this fight, as far as winning it.

would love to see this fight how would Andy take being the underdog in a fight. he would in with one of the best fighters pound for pound today who has just come off to huge wins. I get feed up with watching fighters being protected or who can't get the big fights and as an andy lee fan would love to see this fight come off

Ive no problem with him thinking Martinez wins, its the bias bolox he pulls because i have different opinion to him...

To be fair I dont bet with anyone on the internet but i think its clear without money being involved who i think wins.

Shall we leave it at that? work tomorrow.
