He's from the UK apparently, stated as being from East London, which makes it that much funnier.

There's a difference between kissing the floor and staying there. Haye would be too explosive for him I reckon. Speed power and movement would be key. Ok Haye has been down a few times but he's took some good punches and stayed up right. Half the time the knockdowns are his own fault for getting caught way off balance. I hope he corrects this flaw soon.

Nevermind. :patsch It says right on the poster that Adamek's titles are on the line (but there is no mention of them on either Boxrec or ESPN).

So, as of tonight Adamek is still technically ranked #3 by the IBF.

There is no #1 or #2.

The IBF champion is Wladimir Klitschko (and of course they don't rank the champions of competitors WBA/WBC/WBO, respectively: David Haye, Vitali Klitschko, and Wladimir himself again).

So really, Adamek is the #1 IBF heavyweight contender (since there's nobody above him). That means he's ostensibly closer to Wladimir than he is to either of the other champions, as he's #4 in the WBC and #10 in the WBA.

What does he need to do to move up into the empty slots? Surely the International Championship defense against Maddalone shouldn't vault him two whole spots...but with it, does he creep any closer to a world title opportunity as a mandatory challenger (instead of having to bank on being selected as a voluntary defense)?

So was Mormeck and Boytsov. Adamek was toying with this local tough man.

Sosnowski would be a punching bag for Tomasz. And 96 Golota would have schooled both of them.

We wanna see Haye vs Adamek. We don't wanna see Haye fight Klitschko.

Haye vs Adamek for the Heavyweight Title. Those other guys are SuperHeavyweights in my book.

Adamek is Wlad's next mandatory, via the WBO.

But this should work in both ways ... if you think about punching power and speed of Haye's opponents: John Qicksilver Ruiz, Sugar Rey Valuev, Montel Barrett Jr or even and especially Money Harrison then you don't need to be genius to see that Haye's light speed and granite chin is a real difference comparing to Adamek's slow movement and the shaky china he holds.
