EA Sports has announced that David "The Hayemaker" Haye, will be featured on the cover of their upcoming boxing game, Fight Night Champion.

Haye is currently taking the boxing world by storm and has cemented himself as one of the biggest Heavyweight boxers in the world right now. And with him set to retire next year, this was the perfect move for EA Sports.

The game is due out in the first part of 2011 on PS3 and Xbox 360.

Bad news for Haye. The EA Sports curse is more accurate than Teddy Atlas's predictions.

This is probably for the UK only. I can't imagine EA wanting to exhibit the face of a man who's being ridiculed everywhere else.

yeah he'll get even more deluded, but hopefully the curse strikes and he gets KTFO sometime in 2011.

Yeah, I thought about the EA curse too! Well, it's been wrong a bit more recently...it was 100% accurate just a few years ago.

It does make sense, love Haye or hate him - he has a star profile. It's a perfectly good reason to slap him on the cover, particularly for the UK market.

Are you kidding? This is a joke right? It will tank here if Haye is on the cover. Their Sports MMA game is crap. The controls are horrendous and the UFC equivalent pistol whips it into oblivion.

Yeah - it really ****ed up Manny Pac's career, didn't it?

And I think Haye's only on the cover in the UK.

In fairness, UFC 2010 was an inconsistent mess. The standing game was solid (if lacking fluidity) and the ground game was abysmal.

Heh, maybe I'll create Chisora on it...depends on how he's doing come around March next year, of course ;)

I created Haye, Audley, Skelton and Williams for Round 4. Along with former heavyweight guys like Bruno and Hide. Love creating (crying shame the Round 4 system was pretty crap for the faces).
