IMO opinion it wont look too good, and would be another pacman opponent on a losing streak.

mosley hasnt won a fight now in 2 years, he is 39, he got absolutley dominated by floyd at the start of the year.

so whilst mosley might be one of the best opponents for pac, i dont think he will garner him much credit.

tbh i would prefer to see pac vs either

    floyd, martinez, marquez.

either of those would be a very good victory for pac.

after them i would prefer mosley or cotto or maybe the winner of the khan/maidana/bradley/alexander lot.

then i would say berto is the worst fight which would be acceptable.

so shane is rightfully quite high on the list, but the win wont mean much at all will it not?

the last missing big name (I mean with truly ATG/HOF status) beside Floyd on PAC's resume ... why not?

    Depends on how he wins.....
    • If it's a competitive war, he better prepare himself for a **** load of criticism.
    • If it's a fairly straightforward and easy points win, then he deserves very little credit.
    • If he knocks him out (highly unlikely) or stops him in impressive fashion, then yes he does warrant a bit of respect for that.
The third scenario is the only one that can save him. He better go that little bit extra and do something we don't expect of him, if he wants to impress us.

Not a lot, as Mosely was on the decline.

Not much, he's clearly past it.
But it's still Sugar Shane... No matter how far he's gone, he did manage to wobble Floyd in their onesided bout.

I give pac no credit for facing mosley even if he ko´s him in 4 rounds. Fans do not wnat this fight and im tired of getting forcefeed bull**** fights the whole time, margarito was accepted clottey as well but mosley is so far past it its just a pathetic attempt of record padding with a name. I will give him credit for marquez at 140 or ebrto at 147.

Win, Win, loss, draw is a "losing streak"? That's not really a "streak", is it?

I think a fast KO will earn him negative credit for fighting an old man.

If he didn't KO a more disgraced Margo out of class, I'm pretty sure he won't knock out Shane as well in the later rounds.

The only respect he will gain is if he'll be able to be the only boxer to ever knock Shane down early.
And even then I can easily envision the joyboys hating Pac for fighting an old man.

So really, this won't add any big merits under Pac's name except cleaning up the WW division, barring boxers "with no urge to fight".

Only from the dimwits. Those who are honest, will recognize the fact that Shane is not a fighter who gets taken out easily, regardless of his age.

It will be a tko stoppage either the ref stops it or his corner or he quits himself. Floyd almost looked like stopping mosley who was gassed after 3 rounds, and he throws like what 30 punches in one round? pac throws times as many therefore a tko is very likely. First rounds mosley will have a chance but not ko pac. after that the ebating starts from 4 on between round 6-9 fights gets stopped. Its logical actually.
