You may get a few snooker halls that'll show it. I've been to a few in the past that have paid for PPVs.
Because from Sky's perspective, if it was the same as the home price , lots of pubs would show it.. and so less homes would purchase, so there would be a lot of people all seeing it for the price of £15... which of course they don't want. So by making single PPV events upwards of £250 for pubs.. only sports bars will want to put it on, and in the process more people will end up buying it at home. If you think that's bad, you should see the fee's for football!
the price of sky/ppv in a pub depends on the size of a pub. its done by sqM2. most casino's will show it
It's done on the pubs Rateable value, which screws over pubs that are small as they end up potentially paying the same as a large pub
