Bollocks anyway, I had convinced a couple of mates to go along with Casey being on it. Disgraceful if they knew he was off and tried to keep it quiet. I'm sure a lot of the casual fans would have been going because of casey. Was going to get tickets on the door but might watch carlos on the late late now!

In fairness lads they did add Dean Byrne to the card when the chance came up, their last show was top-notch and they have brought one fighter to the brink when a year ago he was nobody.

Whatever has been said about this bill, if there wasn't such a glut of live boxing in the country right now we'd be cheering from the rafters and going along.

Just back from the Mag7 weigh in. Macklin looked, calm, happy and in great shape.

    Looking forward to tomorrow night.

Less than four rounds I'd guess for Macklin.....

Anyone ever fancy seeing Lee and Martinez as Playboy bunnies?

No? Well, that's what we've got tomorrow in the sun. Might as well have a bit of fun with this - good times for Irish boxing

Carl did well there. Not a cravat to be had though.

Handled himself well. I reckon McGuigan is hoping he can make him a star down here. I mean all us auld message board fools are well aware of him but I reckon he wants to make him a household name down here.

I'd love to see him box on a card down here. Get it done McGuigan!

Great bit of air time Barry got Carl there even if it was short. I had to sit through Take That those 30 minutes I will never get back. Carl could now get a few more casual fans interested in his fights now thanks to that interview. Delighted for the lad I hope Barry does sort a card for down here some time this year even in the National Stadium as he could well sell it out if he keeps banging people out in the ring. Welcome to the big time Carl who knows you might get the call to be on the RTE panel next.
