I hope Khan doesn't fight too cautios as I think he has the ability to possible stop Maidana. I think he will box safe and look brilliant in patches.

I'm pretty certain Maidana gets the KO, Khan has never wanted to fight big punchers.

Yes but the reason he isn't good enough because he doesn't train hard enough.

His problem was becoming famous and having money and a title before he was developed. He trains at the wildcard for the 2-3 fights per year, 8 weeks beforehand, thats between 16 and 24 weeks a year.. stupidity. All because he is too attached to his lifestyle in the UK and bolton.

A lot of people in boxing overrate his actual technical ability because of his hand speed. That speed covers up and masks the problems he has. If he was not famous, didn't have the money, he would be like other up and coming fighters. Hungry, training, focusing on that goal of what they want, trying to get OUT of their current lives and into a better one, that's what makes them train almost all year round, developing and trying to be better. Later on in their careers when they have made it they may go to the 2-3 camps per year regime, but not when they are still coming together.

Wheras Khan doesn't want out of his life, his life is great. Imagine the fighter he could of been had he upped sticks like he said he would 2 years ago and moved to LA fully.. He won't though, because there's too much of a good life back here.

I still however believe his handspeed gives him an edge over most of the other 140's. I don't think he beat Bradley, but the rest, including Maidana should be pretty easy nights work. The Mayweather's, Manny's, Mosley's and Cotto's of this world however would obliterate him

  4. maidana can box too. he has decent upper body movement and footwork. he's not the fastest boxer in the world, but he's not the slowest either. he's showed that he can recover well when he's hurt. i dont think khan has more power than victor ortiz. if he was able to take some of victor's best punches and keep a clear head, why wouldnt he be able to do the same against khan? there's in no way in hell khan would even attempt to finish maidana off. he doesnt have the balls or the chin to finish off a fighter like maidana. i just dont see how khan can win. maybe im wrong. maybe khan's chin is indeed better at 140 than at previous weights. cant wait for this fight. i dont even like either of them. this is just an exciting match up! i cant wait!! props to khan for taking this fight!!

Khan dosen't deserve any props for taking the fight, he has ducked Maidana since June 2009 and he wanted to fight a Lightweight next not Maidana.

Thanks Maidana for writing a letter to the WBA, forcing Khan to fight him or Vacate the belt.

The only way he's getting a KO tonight is if he walks into a lamp post on the way to the weigh in. The fight is tommorow

Maidana looks a little more healthy in these pictures. I'm sure he's looking forward to the weigh in so that he can rehydrate up.
