Maidana is not as reckless and crude as you're making out. Watch his best punches and you'll see they are thrown short and properly and as i said in another post you can't use "the eye test" with Maidana, because his intangibles can't be measured with the naked eye. His sum is greater then his parts.

Oh and i think Khan's inactivity this year is more of a factor.

Credit to him if he wins in style, but I hope he fights with his brain as well as his fists. Maidana will come at him like a train so this is a real fight for once.

Mannnn soooo hyped for this fight now!! Do us proud Khan!! Im hoping to be treated to a boxing clinic from Khan. Gonna be soooo fricking nervous in case Maidana lands. The thing what most people are missing here is that even if Khan had a semi decent chin, Maidana would still be very dangerous! Im pretty sure not all 27 opponents where chinny fighters!

I'm not doubting what he does with his hands, what concerns me is how much he is prepared to take while doing so

I think one of these two could get embarrassed in the sense that it could be a KO loss for Khan with all the chin criticism resurfacing, or Maidana could get schooled and even stopped exposing him as crude and unskilled bar his power.

I hope Khan wins but I'm going for Maidana to stop him .....

It's be great if it went back and forth, both guys scoring KDs and getting back up to continue on, with one finally getting a late stoppage.

I was thinking though, Khan will keep at a good distance and just keep putting rounds in the bag, peppering Maidana with shots to keep him off balanced and stopping him from getting in his rhythm. Maybe a ref stoppage late on.

But if Maidana is supposed to be in bad shape, he could get overwhelmed by Khan's volume early on alright.
