this needs to get made, miller only has one fight left on his contract at strikeforce and after it expires you wouldnt be surprised to see him go to the ufc. dana was saying this week that he would be interested in signing him.

 

That's brilliant. Mayhem is great entertainment and a quality fighter, I want to see this happen.

 

Credit to Miller he's managed to turn this intop protentially the most hyped fight SF could put on bar Fedor/Overeem but really both sides are looking for a weight that benefits them, Diaz would likely weigh less than 185 and Miller could probabley cut to 180 pretty easily.

Hopefully SF get on CBS again and thats enough to push this match though, if not then Lawler/Mayhem 2 is a fight I want to see aswell.

 

Mayhem won't come down in weight at all to fight him, he is all talk.

Yeah neither seem to want to budge at all with regards to weight, what do you guys think about a catchweight of around 178 could Miller make it?

 

He does say that but I'm not sure he means it, I've heard him say before "why don't you come down to 170lbs" and "why are you picking on the little guy" maybe he does want to fight at 185lbs.

 

Yeah me too, have you seen the video where mayhem interview diaz, they look the same size, Nicks slightly bigger if anything, its a risky fight for him though, Miller has more to gain so maybe Nick just wants as many advantages as possible.

 

The problem is that as big a match as its become neither man really has to take it, Diaz has credible fights vs Daley and/or Cyborg while Miller could rematch Lawler.

The fact Mayhem's only got one fight left on his contract maybe a sticking point aswell, having Mayhem win and leave would be a much bigger blow to SF than Shields considering he's a bigger name AND theres really nobody else at WW to hype as easily as Jacare.

 

Miller said he wants control over his career, implying that he wouldn't sign to UFC. He enjoys going to fight in Japan aswell. Diaz started **** with his mouth and actions NOW he should face the music. Diaz needs to nut up or shut up.
