How can true boxing fans support Manny Pacquiao?

    Just curious....as most of his fans approach the sport as if it were the WWE....They also have no knowledge about the history or the true essence of the sport.

    i like floyd.have been a fan of his forsooo many years. Pacman too. they have greatness imbedded in their DNA it seems.Why you wanna talk smack all the time? like a troll on heat.... really it is. Dats reality for ya homie:good

    Pac, just like any great dominant athlete in any sport, will bring in hoards of casual fans. Tiger Woods did it with golf. The Williams sisters did it with tennis. Oscar De La Hoya did it for boxing for 15+ years. Just because casual fans support a great boxer doesn't mean hardcore fans should hate the boxer. That isn't what boxing is all about. Exceptional athletes are great for any sport.
