I was pulling for Overeem beforehand but I have to admit I was hoping Aerts could pull it off, still a great performance by Allistair that should finally lay to rest the idea he doesnt have a chin/heart.
Mans done good... he still has no heart or chin though :rasta I'd love to see him back in the UFC or even Strikeforce! Not likely to happen next year though as he is fighting in K1 in April! Lynchburg
Honiestly Overeem having a weak chin was always BS even in his LHW days, more a case of him having poor defence/heart(and a neck injury vs Rogerio/Arona) since when he was put down it was always by big shots. You don't take those shots from Sprong and Saki then come back to win if you've gotten no heart/chin, he isnt Nog/Hunt in that reguard but theres hardly a glaring weakness there either.

Yeah but its not as if Chuck put him down easily, a flush overhand followed by a blitz agnest the ropes. As I said I think the old LHW Overeem lacked heart and defence but its not as if he was being put down/out by small shots. The new HW Overeem clearly does have improved defence and heart as we saw today.
