Wlad took the fight against the then undefeated, KO punching Sam Peter, and rematched Brewster, and I think it is nothing short of comedy gold to say he is faking this injury to get out of fighting...........wait for it...............Del Boy Chisora. LOL

I think they'll keep the same opponent, and the fight will happen in a couple three months.

Chisora gets embarrassed, but he makes some good money for his trouble.

Thank god... for a moment there you had me worried.

But you don't have to live in fear for much longer my brother... the revolution is right around the corner.

It's an exciting time for the boxing world.

The fight wont happen for the following reasons:

    1. Haye is retiring in November.
    2. Klits have now realised that and both want to fight him before he does retire.
    3.Money
4.They have taken guys like chisora apart before but haye is a whole different ball game! hate him or love him he is a MASSIVE challenge for both of them.

Not hating chisora i think he could of done well just Haye has more speed and ALOT more power. I think haye beats Wlad by tko but Vitali im not sure about but in the briggs fight the fat **** did get a few punches off which put fear into vitali's eyes image 5 in a row! so i'll sit on the fence on that fight.

I just want the fight to happen! i have just started a thread on what Oscar had to say i copy and paist it in here....

Here is what Oscar had to say:

"First let me clarify that Klitschko vs. Haye is not a fight....it's an event. It's an event that people want to watch. It's a worldwide event, whether it happens in the States, or whether it happens in Europe. David Haye, he knows what he's doing. He's a smart man. He's a great promoter. He knows how to sell a fight. He knows this is a fight that the fans want to watch and they want to watch it now,"

"And David Haye wants it. There is no doubt in my mind that he wants to fight him and this is the perfect opportunity right now. I'm sure Klitschko is on board. I'm sure David Haye is on board. It's a matter of negotiating that fight and hopefully we'll see that fight sooner than later."

"Obviously anything can be worked out when my man [Golden Boy CEO] Richard Schaefer is involved. He is the master at making sure that everybody is happy when it comes to making a fight and putting a fight together. I am very optimistic that this fight, the heavyweight championship of the world, can be made,"

I wonder how far this will set Wlad back, as far as the 6 week healing time.........

After the healing time, will he then have to go back into another (shorter) training camp, or will the 6 weeks not be a hinderance to his preparation, and he'll be good to go, after the muscles heal?

    Chef?

i think it will go like that,
from now 6 weeks rest, 4 weeks training, thats like the beginning of march he will fight chisora and in may he will fight haye at wembley, because this will generate more money not the fight in vegas. and the weather for the wembley fight would be allright in may

wlad was trying to sell a **** fight....what do you want him to say about the 14-0 unproven journey man? " he has beaten no one except a 37 year old danny williams, he is known for biting someone , beating up his woman, and he really has no business fighting the champ, but this was a stay busy fight and it is was it is"
ever heard of building interest? wlad didnt duck anyone dummy....hes not gonna pull out of a fight because theres a chance he could fight haye who hes been chasing for 2 years , the same haye that has given new meaning to the word "DUCK"
    :hi:

    Yup.

Wlad is hurt. A stomach muscle tear/pull affects everything. Obviously it's just pulled or he'd be out for 6-8 months since it would probably need surgery to be fixed.

I still think Wlad could recover from this, get back into the gym, and make this fight around Jan 15.

As for Haye coming calling now, yup, it's only because Wlad is tied up with DelBoy, contracted, and CANT pull out of the fight without risking his belts.

Just my opinion, but this should have been a nontitle fight with DelBoy, soas if something like this did happen, he could get out of it, and still be ready for the unification.

And he pulls a 2 inch tear in one of the strongest muscle in the body two days before the fight! :verysad

Ducked as simple as that! No fighter trains that hard 2 days before a fight to rip that muscle that bad muppet!

Wlad isnt going to fight Chisora. Full stop!! It wasn't selling and the public weren't buying it simple as that. If Wlad fights again before the Haye fight is made he will have to pick a better opponent because he's realised the public wont buy. Thats the real and only reason this fight was pulled. It shouldn't have been made in the first place. But they tried it on and the public said NO THANKS!

If he's genuinley got a 2inch tear in an abdominal muscle and requires surgery we'll see a nice long scar on his abs next time around wont we? Just like we say on Audley after he had a pec tear and had surgery to correct that.

he has a short 3cm tear in his muscle, he doesn't need surgery because it's not big enough to fix it. there is evidence from a real doctor!!!

By Boxing Press December 9th, 2010 All Press Releases

The fight between IBF, WBO and IBO Heavyweight Champion Wladimir Klitschko and his opponent Dereck Chisora (UK) had to be cancelled.

The two heavyweights were supposed to meet at SAP Arena Mannheim, Germany, this Saturday, Dec 11.

After an initial diagnosis, Klitschko suffered a torn abdominal muscle on his left side during his afternoon training session on Wednesday.

“The abdominal muscle is injured and therefore Wladimir Klitschko will not be able to fight on Saturday”, says Dr. Sven Roessing, orthopedic specialist at university hospital Mannheim, Germany.

Klitschko will have to pause for about 4 - 6 weeks. It is the first time in his professional career Wladimir Klitschko had to cancel a fight due to an injury.

    so yeah ducking, hu hu.^^

wlad would heave beaten the **** out of chisora, how can anyone even suggest that wlad is afraid of fighting this bad prospect.

chisora is not even b class and would lose to the complete top 15, the fight was from the first moment a mismatch and a stay busy fight for wlad, but i gave him a pass because it was his 3 fight in one year and his first voluntery defense since chagaev who was an unbeaten world champion.

i'm looking forward to the great fight against haye, where wlad will starch haye with a straight right in the first 4 rounds
