    The one thing i like about DeGale is that when his opponent attacks his instinctive reaction is to fire back immediately. Fight fire with fire as they say.

    Round 3...DeGale is the much bigger man in the ring and steps in with another left hand that lands.Smith now has some success, flurrying with DeGale against the ropes but I don't think anything of substance got through. Howard Foster warns DeGale for slapping. Smith now getting through with a couple of right hands, better from him. Smith should forget about the jab, it's not working for him. The focus should be on the right hand which he is having at least some success with.

    Smith round as DeGale didn't do much. 2-1 DeGale
