nice video. Best right uppercut ever. The one at the end was a thing of beauty. I love that right to the body - uppercut combination.

People can say it is ALI because of his accomplishment, but Mike Tyson as a fighter is unique/rare and there will never be like him.

Although Lewis was the better boxer the HW division has never quite been the same since Mike left. Sad how he lost his way near the end boxing wise though. Still in his prime he was great and best of all exciting. Sorley lacking in todays HW division and looks like it won't get better anytime soon :?:verysad

 

Yeah but Dempsey didn't look as ferocious, balance, and didn't really match the look compared to Iron "Mike Tyson" :bbb

 

Tyson based most of his style of Dempsey truth be told.

You ever see the footage of a young 15/16 year old Tyson watching the old footage of Dempsey? Dempsey was his idol boxing wise. Think cause Dempsey was quite small yet so brutal for a HW was why Tyson liked him so much.

Agree that Tyson was the harder puncher out of the two though but he was about 35/40 pounds heavy don't forget but the bending of the knees and then pushing up though with the uppercut...he got that from Dempsey have no doubt about that one.

 

Tyson's power combos are a thing of beauty.

 

He left a big gap in the heavyweight division after his deterioration. Win or lose he came to fight and drew in crowds of people. It is sad that there's still a gap in the division even to this day....
