Most intelligent boxing display?

^ good post. Ppl automatically shout Floyd bc of his great athleticism and ability to hit a slower guy and get out of the way, but that's not exactly amazing boxing IQ. Jones did that his whole career, yet people say he was technically flawed. Floyd has shown some great IQ in some of his fights though. But most of the time it's his speed that gives him the edge.

 

I would completely agree with you if Ali hadn't knocked Foreman out. Hell Foreman could have just stop trying to KO and not thrown another punch the rest of the fight and he would won on points easily. But Ali used the rope-a-dope, Foreman fell for it hook, line, and sinker, therefore it meets the criteria.

Believe me, had Foreman won, Ali's strategy would have gone down as one of the dumbest gameplans in boxing history. It was a very thin line he was on.

 

I don't know where you have been. But Floyd is the most scrutinized boxer today.
