It was a close fight,Ortiz won by 2 points IMO But Victor was laughing after they declared it a draw,for an ambitious fighter this is very strange. Maidana screwed him up for life
this fight was close outside the 3rd round. The first 2 rounds, nothing really happened. Ortiz won the 3rd round huge. Peterson's best round was the 8th i believe. I wish it was a 12 round fight. I didn't come out of this fight thinking either fighter is significantly better than the other
I think Ortiz did even more "running;, he got hit clean numerous times, & let the smaller puncher walk him down at times. Other than the 3rd, Ortiz wasnt even impressive himself

The judges are definitely in the pocket... I didn't know Peterson's people were that well connected... As it happens, it was a foregone conclusion...
Not impressed by Ortez. Peterson took control after the knockdowns. If it werent for the knock downs, Peterson gets a unanimous decision easy. Brandon Rios would eat Ortez for breakfast.
