First off, I take my hats to both fighters. Amazing fight, and neither quit. I think that Maidana showed he was more than a plodder with power in my opinion. I had said this before and it shows after, he's not slow. He was able to counter Khan, was smart enough to split the guard with uppercuts and go to the body, closed the distance well, etc. He got a bit tired but not as much I had feared he might. He is a top contender for more than his power. Khan has a lot of heart and will be able to compete at an elite level no problem. He's still a bit chinny of course, but not enough to endanger his career unreasonably. I think Maidana and Khan both destroy Bradley and Alexander. Alexander will lose to Bradley, and I hope Maidana as the loser can fight him so when Khan beats Bradley, there is a rematch. This seems the best outcome for 140.

Khan is definitley chinny.. most fighters dont lose the feeling in their bodies as badly as Khan did when they are hurt. I'm still not sold on Khan's boxing skills just yet.. good eye catching speed on his comboes just not that precise. Definitley has some deceptive thudding power on his punches though.

We'll see if they are the best at 140. They all have to fight each other to know who's best. Maidana showed that he is a threat to anyone though.

Not going to be the same.

Alexander got a "gift" as some would say against a fighter that Khan shut out. And Khan beat the renowned hardest hitter in the division that even Bradley acknowledges "can punch holes in heavy bags" and proved he can survive a whole round of getting his ass kicked then win the next round after.

Khan answered a lot of questions in this fight.

There is nothing that can be answered in Bradley-Alexander except if Bradley is really better than Alexander.

And if Alexander wins, that just makes Khan's victory over Kotelnik shine even more.

you think kahn and maidana destroy alexander and bradley? and what makes you think that.

both kahn and maidana showed how good they are at what they do but both men also exploited the other's flaws. wouldnt mind see those two have a rematch

with alexander and bradley fighting next month, it going to take a few more fights to see who the top man is at 140.

everyone khan beats, they go on and prove themselves as tough oppoenents and beat other "top" guys in the division.

khan will unify the division, move up. and maidana will KO everyone else.

I'm of the opinion that Timothy Bradley is the leader of the pack at 140. I think he'll prove it over the next year/year and a half.

Khan showed me a lot tonight, the kid has guts + ability but I still think Bradly is the best 140 fighter. I expect him to eat Alexander alive.

I gotta agree with that. Khan just is not well rounded enough. I believe Bradley would stop Khan at 140.

Bradley is the leader in terms of accomplishments, but I think he can be outhustled by Khan who will not be dettered by his punches and use his pop/speed. Alexander has the most predictable rhythm in the division and cannot fight backwards. Khan will stop him. Maidana would destroy him.

Bradley might survive against Maidana but again, I don't think he has the output to hurt him like Khan could. He's durable but Maidana is relentless. It's competitive but I think maidana could outwork him.
