Nothing at all.... but throwing your gloves up after you get hit and banging them together... let Manny have that. That's part of the Pacquiao character.
This would have been a much easier fight for him if he had better defense But the thing that I did notice was him basically letting his opponent hit him. I forget what round it was, not the end ones where he was almost out but some where around round 6 or so, he did the exact same thing as Pac does, cover up with a high guard but not move or throw back and basically let the other guy tag you a few times through the guard. That is a really stupid thing for Khan to be doing. Especially being a young guy with a long career ahead of him.. does he want to be a bhop and last well into his 30s and early 40s and not take much punishment or does he want to be one of the guys who is almost shot before 30 from taking too much punishment
I'm going to tell Maidana next fight to emulate Sugar Ray Leonard. There's a reason that's dumb and that's why Amir shouldn't emulate Manny. They don't have the same sttributes
everybody holds, when khan is wobbled he needs to learn how to hold, that is a vital skill in itself. I hate guys like Ruiz who do it the entire fight, hatton as well.
I disagree. I think Khan just didn't know what to do. He's never been under this kind of pressure before and I honestly believe he just froze. He entertained the crowd with his Pac impersonations (glove tapping up high), but I don't think Khan's stupid enough to let the biggest puncher in the division unload on him.
Amir said it himself. The interview is on YouTube by kristal heart. I don't know what he's talking about exactly but I have my ideas.
criticized for emulating a guy who's shorter than him in a higher weight class with a better chin and more power
khan is a straight *****! He will never be like manny pacquiao! He taps his gloves like manny in the fight, when he hits the mitts with freddie the joke roach he mimicks manny as well. What a ****ing joke, Damn I guess that crook ariza is giving khan something. How did that glass chin fraud stay up in the 10th??
