Maidana is Special. What a WARRIOR. I AM A FAN.

I agree with most of the comments here, Maidana is a beast and someone who I will go out of my way to watch. And Donizhere, though Maidana did get saved by the bell in the 1st but you have to give him credit for getting up after that liver shot and surviving (how many other fighters couldn't done that?) Also, Cortez saved Khan FAR more than he did Maidana.

 

I jumped out of my chair in the 10th! I thought the sick son of a ***** was going to knock khan out!! madaina is a mini margarito, The guy is like the terminator!

 

The guys at the watch party kept referring to Maidana as The Terminator after eating punch after punch from Khan and just kept moving forward. Tough as nails.

 

He got up from a liver shot! You could tell it still hurt like hell when he rose to his feet. That sick ****er

 

yea **** cortez! He broke them up everytime they were close, maidana had one arm free to punch and the jerk off broke them up and saved khan!

I couldn't agree more! Makes you remember why boxing so so great. Also, was I the only one really frustrated by the fact that when Maidana was trying to finish off Khan in the 10th, Khan just turned his back on Maidana and Cortez didn't say a word?

 

I have to agree, Maidana is truly sumthing special...he is a throwback fighter and total badass...I'm an even bigger fan after this performance!

Round 10 was freakin crazy, I was goin nuts in the living room screaming like a mad man @ 6am lol

It was one of those fights where nobody thinks less of the guy for losing. He put in a great performance, showed a chin of granite and the determination of a madman.

Khan deserved the win, no question, but I don't actually think that losing made Maidana any less likely to do the business against Bradley or Alexander. The guy is a beast.

 

When you go down from good body shots, it's hard to get up and continue. Maidana not only got up from that but almost took Khan out later in the fight. He also wouldn't stop putting the pressure and combos on Khan till the end of the fight. It was great, and I'm a fan now too. Look forward to his next fight.
