He fought a fighter that most said he was blatantly ducking. He took numerous flush punches from a fighter many said all he needs to do is just land one punch and Khan is gone. He fought a very exciting fought many said he would hide behind his jab to an easy boring decision. He fought in a country away from his own where he could of make more from his own. He's only 24. He's very respectful and humble. What gives?
I actually dont dis-like khan, I just hate freddie roach and ariza. Im also a maidana fan so I have been trash talking khan lately! All in all I dont hate khan, I dont think hes anything special either. over hyped!
Theres only one Amir khan , one Amir Khan ...walking along, singing a song ,walking in an amir wonderland !!!
This has proven to me that there's nothing Khan can do to avoid some people hating on him. Last night he did what no-one thought he could do but instead of praise, all you see are threads (apparently without a hint of irony) like "Maidana won the event". It really is pathetic.
I love fighters with glass jaws who turn their backs during fights. When you need Joe Cortez to save you and give you the break you need to run away you are KING CON
I agree that Khan gets treated unfairly in here...even Brits seem to hate him in droves...its a shame, really... ...regarding his skills, for the first four rounds against Mianda, I was thinking Khan had the goods to be in the upper echelons of the sport, but then I realized the guy still has a lot to learn, and unfortunately, its only a matter of time before he gets KO'd again. He is lucky Midana didn't land that overhand right a few rounds earlier, or even earlier in the round.
Im reading all the reason here and its ******ed. "He's not slick" - WTF!?! "He's mentally weak" - HUH!? "He has no inside game" - You got be kidding me, you dont hate a fighter because of that "He has no heart" - OMG
U shoudl read some of the comments made on the article sore losers are now saying, if onyl maidana didnt get tired etc etc its the refs fault etc etc no matter what Khan does, hell never win over some people well i say good luck tot he guy and good luck to Maidana, hope Maidana boucnes back, gets a decent coach, would to love watch him KTFO out of overated Bradley
There seems to be no real reason for the haters to dislike him either. All top prospects are protected to some extent when they move into the pros, but Khan just took a fight with a guy who was, on paper, his worst nightmare. Seems like once the ****s start hating a fighter they never change their mind on him
These ***gots just can't accept that a brown man is the real deal. It's okay. They'll come around soon.
The hate is more warranted than the HYPE. The End. Why turn your back on Con when he turned his back on Maidana ?
