So impressed with Khan , especially with the 10th round.

His chin isn't as bad as everyone thought, but he showed that he's still very vulnerable and he also doesn't have the wind to dance for 12 rounds. A good puncher who can throw sharp, accurate punches is still going to put him to sleep. Maidana is a good fighter, but limited. I would make him a B+ level guy, maybe an A-. He's not an elite.

It might be good for Khan ultimately however, in terms of his financial career. Everybody loves drama, and he'll always bring the drama one way or the other.

I think Berto will stop him, and I'm not a real big fan of Berto. A good fight for Berto to take if he wants to be in the conversation to fight Pacquiao. He needs a big name.

I don't think Freddy will be looking to make that matchup.

Maidana is no Duran, Duran was a bit of a ***** in a smart way whilst Maidana just seems stupid some of the time even out of the ring he acts like a piece of dead wood.

It would be a lesson for him..he relax and lose his guard and he got caught.
if not for the 10th ...it would be a lopsided fight. His side to side movement
is superb yet he needs to train more his right hand..it still lacks the power.
kudos to maidana for bringing it on..maidana and bradley would be really
    really damned good:thumbsup

I was just impressed he took some bombs off one of the most fearsome punchers you can find in the sport, very impressed he kept his head when he got hurt too.

After that i think i like Maidana even more than i did. I was ready to say goodnight after that bodyshot in the 1st, looked game over already, he was hurting bigtime. I have no problems with dirty fighters, thats what refs are for. In the later rounds he could hardly get off his stool but did then went out there like a warrior.

I was impressed with khan's performance tonight. My only flaw I saw in khan was how was off balance whenever he threw combos. Once make adjustments, he is gonna be one he'll of a boxer.

    Again, props to khan's victory!

He does do that and it doesnt look right, and when under a sustained attack he sorta just stands there lening a little forward with his gloves up, which is why maidana was landing so many uppercuts.

Yes it was a good performance...he relax on the 10th, lose his guard
and he paid for it. this is a tough lesson for him.Khan's side to side movement
is superb yet he needs to train his right hand more. It still lacks punching
    power.
Kudos too for Maidana for bringing it on. A Bradley vs Maidana would
be a really good match up.

Well done Amir! all champs have tough fights like this on the way up, he just needs to make sure he learns from the mistakes he made. A mistake is only a mistake if you don't learn from it.

Khan came through a serious examination last night and put on a great winning show against an opponent that was dangerous throughout. He truly came of age with that fight.

Maidana is better than anything on Bradley's resume; thus, Khan surpassing him, in my eyes.

(Although the Bradley-Alexander winner prolly will reclaim the distinction)

    Interesting scrap.

Each fighter would face speed that each hasn't yet experienced (and may never will again.)

I gotta go the the naturally bigger and stronger fighter (as I usually do when one fighter moves up.)

And is people having a banner in the ring at the start saying "The Falklands belong to Argentina" (I think that was the translation) - Very distatseful. Leave the polotics and hate to others Marcus.
