What a fight and what a performance. He still has clear flaws but after a fight like that how can you hate on the kid. Sure he says stupid stuff but give credit where credit is due, he just fought one of the hardest punchers in the Sport something we have all asked him to do since the Prescott fight and to win the way he did was just unbelievable. Now I hope he takes on and beats the winner of Bradley-Alexander.

So after that is there anyone in the British Forum that still does not support Khan?

I was originally on the fence and actually thought Maidana would take him out inside 3 rounds.

I now truly believe no one can touch Khan at 140. His fights next year will be so exciting as he moves to unify the division.

    Umm Maidana..?

It was an amazing performance from Khan and I agree I don't know how anyone can really be critical of him after that but I actually think Maidana would likely beat him if they had a rematch.

For the first 9 rounds I was ambivalent. When Khan got in trouble late on and had to dig deep, I found myself really rooting for him. In the end I was glad he won and glad he had a hard competitive fight.

i can't see khan fighting the same way if he gave maidana a rematch. last night the gameplan went out of the window like he wanted to prove he could trade with maidana. he doesn't have to prove this again so (hopefully) he'd fight a little more cautiously.

anyway, rematch won't happen. it'll be alexander/bradley or ortiz next imo

i'm defo a big fan now. although i accept there's plenty of room for improvement yet and any talk of mayweather at this point is just ridiculous. let him clean up 140 then talk

I thought Maidana won it to be honest. And Kon might have been stopped in the 10th

How did you work that one out, Maidana won 2 rounds at best before Round 10. I personally gave 11 to Khan but can understand that been given to Maidana. I think 115-111 would be a fair score. Funnily enough Clarin Argentina's equivalent of the Sun scored it 114-112 to Maidana but then again all you have to do is read the article to see how biased they are.
