This. There are so many great fights at 140, **** moving up. Have a defense in March and then fight the winner of Bradley-Alexander and in the fall he can fight Maidana, Ortiz or whoever is the best left at 140. If he wins all of those then he can talk about Mayweather.
Like I said above I think 115-111 or 115-112 would be fair scorecards. Either way my view on both Khan and Maidana went up after that. I cannot to see both guys out again. How about Ortiz-Maidana II, nobody has mentioned that.
I wasn't really scoring it at the time because it was so exciting to watch. I thought it was very close though and could well have gone either way. No idea what fight sky were watching when they said Khan definitely had it and up by 6 points! I'm watching it again now and after 5 rounds I have Khan up 48-46. Could be 48-45 with the point deducted in the 5th but looked really harsh.
I was never a fan of this as a lightweight, he just looked flimsy to me. But i see him handling the winner of bradley-alexander. I dont see how anyone can call him names except idiots who will always do it regardless of what he achieves. How can you argue with what he showed last night, the speed in the first half of the fight was unbelievable, the movement, counterpunching, reflexes, the drama........ what do the haters want? As i say i wasnt a fan but i now look forward to his future fights as a fan.
cards were way to close , he only won 1 at best from the first 6 then factor in the point deduction and the knockdown ? i mean come on even if he wins the last 6 in your eyes hes still behind
